Devil may cry 3 pc controller support
If slaying demons with a pal isn't exactly your SSStyle, there are other exclusive features coming to the port in addition to Bloody Palace's local co-op that'll spice up your single-player sessions: on-the-fly Style switching and weapon switching. Either when using Dante's Doppleganger Style or while in a specific story mission featuring both Dante and Vergil, a second player can pick up a controller and press start to control the other character on screen. Hopefully, the inclusion of a dedicated co-op mode also means that Devil May Cry 3's classic co-op easter eggs will still work if you pop the Joy-Cons off your Switch.

Walker also confirms that the new co-op feature will be playable no matter how you like to divvy up your Switch controllers: it supports using one Joy-Con per player, a set of Joy-Cons for each player, or the Switch Pro controller.
DEVIL MAY CRY 3 PC CONTROLLER SUPPORT SERIES
The mode will be unlocked as soon as players finish Devil May Cry 3's first mission, and series producer Matt Walker says it will keep track of separate save files for Dante and Vergil-so, it won't be long before you and friend can try to tackle co-op, but you'll likely need to invest some time into each character to have any hope of reaching the end. A game like DMC4 needs one to be fully enjoyed. In the new Switch-exclusive local co-op mode, two players will be able to play through the 9,999 floors of the Bloody Palace as Dante and Vergil. Keyboard and Mouse works well for quite a few games, but there are some where a gamepad works infinitely better. Now, with Capcom's updated release of Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition for the Nintendo Switch, players will have the chance to tackle the Bloody Palace together with a friend. Is there something you think we should be reporting on? Email May Cry 3 has always had local co-op in the form of a couple easter eggs, but it was never a fleshed-out mode.
