My other games (SNES, PSX, etc.) all boot without a hitch, but for whatever reason, I have completed hosed PSP functionality on this pi.
Retroarch ppsspp error portable#
I've tried with Crisis Core and Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops. However, no matter what, no PSP game will start. Completely uninstalled lr-ppsspp and reinstalled it from binary.Deleted the Retroarch.cfg from /opt/retropie/configs/psp.I saw the thread linked above and tried its following troubleshooting steps: opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh: line 1304: 2899 Segmentation fault /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-ppsspp/ppsspp_libretro.so -config /opt/retropie/configs/psp/retroarch.cfg "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psp/Crisis_Core_Final_Fantasy_VII_USA_READNFO_PSP-Googlecus/ggl-ccff7u.iso" -appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfg I checked the runcommand.log file, which gave me the following unhelpful information: Parameters:Įxecuting: /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-ppsspp/ppsspp_libretro.so -config /opt/retropie/configs/psp/retroarch.cfg "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psp/Crisis_Core_Final_Fantasy_VII_USA_READNFO_PSP-Googlecus/ggl-ccff7u.iso" -appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfgĢ5:32:386 Thread/ThreadManager.cpp:109 I: ThreadManager::Init(compute threads: 4, all: 8) When I exited the game and tried to re-enter, I found that my pi would fade to black, prompt the "now loading emulator" popup, go blank, flicker that gray popup box, and then boot back to the Retropie screen.Īs far as I know, the only setting I changed was the internal resolution inside. I made the poor mistake of configuring some of the internal resolution settings from within the Retroarch menu while playing Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII on my Pi4.
